My name is Elham Hafiz

A 28-year-old , medical laboratory specialist from Gaza with a strong ambition and perseverance , I lost everything , my home was destroyed and I lost a lot of my relatives friends , memories and even my soul,

I found myself homeless without any possessions but only clothes on me and a few

Identifying papers in my backpack ,

I'm just a simple girl who loves life , has her dream , work, home ... suddenly everything has vanished from her life , I was working in a clinic with a good salary , in addition I've been in volunteer work and helping other people .

Since October 7, 2023 I have been living through a nightmare: genocide, starvation, forced displacement, and endless trauma. My life has been reduced to mere survival—starting from zero every day, nine times displaced, no home, no safety, no future ,my biggest dream was to continue my studies abroad ,What I’ve seen, no human should ever witness .

For over a year and a half, we’ve been in a deadly famine and total collapse ,My body is tired, my mind is exhausted, and my soul longs for healing.

But I still have a dream , I want to heal from trauma I've experienced and take back control of my future , I dream of healing—mentally and physically

I believe that education is my way forward and I'm asking for your support to make this possible , I'm writing to you now and the sound of bombing over my head are restless ,

I'm suffering from hunger , malnutrition and drinking polluted water which is 99% percent polluted ,

I dream of studying Clinical Nutrition for my Master’s degree abroad, rebuilding my life with dignity, and becoming a voice for survivors. Before the war, I had already begun preparing for the IELTS to improve my English and pursue my education. That dream was interrupted—but it’s not gone,

Cost of studying and living abroad for one year :

The total estimated cost for my studies and living expenses abroad for one year is around 18,000$ , This amount will cover:

Tuition fees : Around 8,000$ - 10,000$ for the full year .

Accomodations : Around 700$ -900$ per month .

Transport : Around 100$ per month .

Food & personal Expenses : Around 300$ - 500$ per month .

Flight from Egypt : Around 500$- 1000$
