Help Me Get an Adjustable Bed

Hello :)
My name is Beth and back in January of 2024, I collapsed on my mother’s bedroom floor and got rushed into hospital. I had experienced a perforated bowel and developed sepsis and for a long time, the surgeons and doctors wasn’t sure I was going to pull through. I was too weak to operate on but they had no choice and my first surgery was 6 hours long, I had two more after that. I was induced into a coma and put on a ventilator - it was very much touch and go.
Miraculously, I did pull through and woke up with an ileostomy, mucous fistula and a very large open abdominal wound from my surgery. I was also told that most of my small bowel had to be cut away and eating food like regular people wouldn’t be enough to keep me alive - so I am now fed by Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), TPN is essentially a bag of nutrition that is bespoke to what my body needs and is given to me via a tube that runs to my heart. I am on this 7 nights a week.
Following this surgery, I spent a month and a half in ICU and five and a half months in an intestinal failure ward. I had to learn how to walk again and my mum had to learn how to provide me with my TPN at home. I finally made it home on the 31st July 2024 after a 7 month stay in hospital and to say it has been difficult navigating my mobility is an understatement.
I am in desperate need of an adjustable bed. I have contacted my local authorities but they can only provide a hospital bed which is something I don’t want as I am now suffering with PTSD and have already spent so much time in a hospital bed. I can just about manage to walk up the stairs if I crawl and use my hands slowly but getting comfortable in bed is agony, due to all the issues with my stomach (the wound, ileostomy, fistula) I am often finding myself straining my muscles trying to lift myself up out of bed and the bed being so flat means it’s incredibly uncomfortable to lay on my back which is the only position I can currently lay in. I am finding that every morning I am aching even more and it’s really slowing my recovery down - having an adjustable bed would completely change this for me and allow me to recovery comfortably without any pain, aches or strains when in bed. I have tried many different aids such as pillows for my coccyx etc. but nothing has worked and I am finding my tail bone, back and bum is becoming permanently achy.
For full transparency, the bed and suitable mattress I would like to buy is from Dreams and I would also need to pay for the delivery men to fit it for me once delivered. Here is the link: https://www.dreams.co.uk/sleepmotion-400i-adjustable-platform-bed-frame/p/253-00048-configurable The total altogether comes to £1,982.
I appreciate so much that times are hard at the moment so absolutely anything you could give would mean the entire world to me and I would be forever grateful.
Thank you so much for reading :)
