Growing up, I always felt self-conscious about my teeth. They’ve been yellow, uneven, and awkward for as long as I can remember. Every smile I hide, every laugh I stifle in public, it chips away at my confidence.

As I got older, the comments online made it worse. Strangers judging my smile, making me feel like my insecurity is a joke. “Get your teeth fixed lol,” “Why do they look like that?” — the words hurt more than most people will ever understand.

I’ve tried to ignore it, I’ve tried to live with it, but it affects every part of my life — speaking to people, filming videos, even simple things like laughing at a joke. I hate smiling sometimes, because it reminds me of how uncomfortable I feel.

NHS or UC won’t cover the treatment I need, and it’s something I can’t afford on my own. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe. I’m asking for help to finally fix my teeth, to stop hiding my smile, and to feel confident in my own skin.
