Please help me cover Maus‘ palliative treatment costs

hi,

you probably know me as honey (or laurie irl). just a few days ago i found out my beloved baby budgie Maus is terminally ill. there is sadly no healing treatment and very little hope for her to make it through the next few weeks, but i am determined to give her the best possible care and chance at a longer life, which includes daily meds as well as weekly vet visits where she can get injections to support her suffering liver.

unfortunately as a full time student, the vet costs so far have been difficult to carry and they’ll only continue to grow. i appreciate any support i can get

despite her body failing her, maus is so full of love. she deserves to experience the world for a little longer, even if she won’t reach her first birthday. and i will do everything in my power to give her a wonderful life until she is ready to say goodbye.

i don’t yet know how high the total costs of her palliative treatment will be. it fully depends on how long maus will live. if i receive more total donations than her treatment costs in the end, i will donate the rest to a different animal health fundraiser.
