Maverick’s Cancer Fight

Hey, I’m Maverick, full name Maverick Mackerson Crawford because my mom thinks she’s funny. If you ask me, I do basically everything perfectly; I love my parents fearlessly, make them think I know English, and I beat up my brother when he needs to learn a lesson or two (he deserves it!). I’m 5 going on 6 and so far I’ve lived a pretty good dog story, hiking mountains and being in weddings. This January, during one of mom’s great doggy massage sessions, she noticed a lump on one of my lymph nodes. Since then, they have brought me to the vet to get poked several times and fought for me persistently while multiple lymph nodes continued to grow. I know my parents would give me the world, but the fact is that I decided to have cancer at a financially unstable time. My mom is currently in a coop grad program to save the planet and ended her doggy care business to make my home stress free. My dad is working two jobs just to keep up. So I want to raise as close to $10,000 as possible, which will cover the tests, drugs, and multiple vet visits in the upcoming year. If I can get some humans to help me with that, then I can focus on doing the dog’s job of showing my parents how much I love them and licking away their tears of sadness.
