My bestfriend Margaret Cobb of 7 years is a widow and member of The Israel of God Church. She and her deceased husband Bro. Wilbert Cobb, mother and grandmother all were members of IOG. She has loss all three loved ones within the last three or four years. Her husband took care of their household and finances. Since his death during this Pandemic, she has struggled to make ends meet. When she contracted COVID-19, this was a major setback for her. She has one son who is incarcerated at this time. She doesn't have any close family members in her city and state to help her. She has been suffering with COVID-19 for about two months. She has been on a ventilator for over two weeks. She was moved from ICU last week. Now she is scheduled to be discharged home on March 1, 2021. Sadly, her bills are overdue, utilities are off and she can't walk at this time. She needs extensive physical therapy. I am 945 miles from her, 14 hours away if I drove. The best mode of travel for me is to fly to Norfolk, VA to stay a few weeks or so to help her. I have medical background so I have the experience needed to help her. I want to also, help her get her living situation and bills straightened out. Anyone who is able please help her with this life changing emergency. Anyone that knows Margaret, knows that she would definitely do what she could to help others. The goal amount requested is to help catch her car note up, lights, water and rent. Also, food, medications and other necessities. Please, give whatever you can any amount will help.
