️ Help Manal and Her 3 Children Survive the Ongoing Crisis

My name is Manal, and I am a mother of three precious children:

Zuhair (10 years old)

Aboud (7 years old)

Adam (4 years old)

We are a family of five — my husband, myself, and our three boys — who used to live a quiet, happy life in the Shujaiya neighborhood in the north of Gaza. My husband owned a small shop under our house, and together, we worked to give our children a peaceful and joyful childhood. We had a beautiful home, full of love and laughter.

But all of that was taken from us in the blink of an eye

When the war started, our home was bombed and completely destroyed. Along with it, the shop — our only source of income — was gone. We lost everything in one night. Since then, we have been displaced, living first in a tent and now in the home of a relative in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood. But the conditions are beyond heartbreaking — we can’t even afford to buy food. We are literally hungry, close to starving.

One of the most painful moments of this war happened on December 5th, 2023, when the army invaded our neighborhood. My husband and my eldest son, Zuhair, were trapped inside our home. I lost contact with them for 22 days. I didn’t know if they were alive or dead. For 22 nights, I cried, prayed, and feared the worst.

By a miracle, they survived. But no mother should have to live through that kind of fear.

Little Adam is Suffering from Malnutrition

My youngest son, Adam, has been diagnosed with first-degree malnutrition by local clinics. He cries from hunger every day. He is just a child — he doesn’t understand why we can’t give him food. His hunger has caused severe health issues, including a hernia, which required surgery. The pain and crying became too much for his small body to bear.

This war has stolen his health, his childhood, and his smile.

All three of my children used to be top students in school. They love to draw and they have the most innocent, beautiful dreams: to live in peace, to have enough food, and to go back to school someday. But instead of pencils and backpacks, they now face bombs, hunger, and trauma. They are children — they don’t deserve this life.

What We Need & How You Can Help

• Get medicine and supplies for my children’s health

• Buy clothes and hygiene items for them to stay warm and safe

• Provide any little thing they wish for — just to see them smile again
