Help Mala Nayak and family

Namaste,

My name is Mala Nayak. I am a 64-year-old, and I have gone through domestic violence all my married life, we lost everything in 2019, and due to the trauma, my husband passed away in 2019 Dec. Since then, I have been living in a car or a hotel with my 32-year daughter. She has health issues inhibiting social behavior, learning disabilities, and several other problems.

I don't have any facilities or savings to take care of myself and my daughter.

Can you imagine staying in a hotel or a car for nearly two years? Not having the option to cook or eat homemade food or have a home where we can feel safe.

We are living on food stamps and thinking about how we will live today or where we will live tomorrow in a car or hotel.

Few community members helped us, which is why we survived two years.

I started a job and would like to have your support for a couple of months until I feel safe and secure.

Please help me start a new life.
