In the early hours following what was meant to be a joyful family celebration, tragedy struck. A fire engulfed the home of Luiz and Sara late at night. Thankfully, everyone is safe — including their two children, a 3-year-old daughter and a son who turns 11 next month — but the damage was extensive. The top floor was destroyed, and the rest of the home was left severely damaged by smoke and water, ruining clothes, toys, essentials, and birthday gifts

This wasn’t just any family gathering. Ten loved ones had traveled to visit — a deeply meaningful reunion that brought the family to 14 people under one roof. For many, it was their first time together in years, and they were here to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. That celebration, however, ended in heartbreak

Those who know Sara know that she is the kind of person who never hesitates to help others. She is joy in human form — uplifting, generous, and always ready to support anyone in need. At work, she’s not only deeply responsible but also a source of positivity and strength for her team

Luiz, too, is someone who naturally brings people together — mentoring, supporting, and creating connection without ever needing recognition. Together, Sara and Luiz have built a life rooted in kindness, perseverance, and love
