Help Luis Morgan Bridge the Gap During Financial Hardship After a Job Loss and Many Medical Issues.

Hello everyone,

I am writing this with a humble heart because I have reached a point where I can no longer do this alone. As many of you know, I have been facing severe financial hardship recently.

I want to be honest and humble while clearly explaining my situation ("hardship") so you can understand why I need support right now.

The Situation

I have been unemployed since February 2025. I got laid off even though I was the top performer for 8 months in a row. Despite applying to dozens of jobs and doing everything in my power to secure a new position, I even had my resume and bio professionally edited and enhanced, which got me many interviews. I have pursued many opportunities and received numerous interviews. I haven't been able to find work yet.

I even jumped the gun and went out to purchase a car with a warranty and full coverage to go to the interviews and be able to go to my new job on-site, which hasn’t come, even though my resume is eye-catching with many accomplishments that have landed me many interviews.

The main issue is my age. I have been cut off from interviews for 1 to 5, or even 10, minutes, and even though I did great in the interviews, sometimes going into an hour-long, I never get a callback. The job market has been incredibly tough, and while I remain hopeful, the timeline has stretched far longer than I ever anticipated.

During this year, I had an expensive treatment for neuropathy, since I did not want to lose my legs, which I beat. Replacement of 4 cervical, spinal fusion of 3 vertebrae, full body arthritis, both knee injections, and lower back pain, which I still have.

But the worst was vein leakage, which had me in bed for over two and a half months, without being able to walk on my own and getting ignored by 6 vascular surgeons, until I found a vein specialist who finally cured me. I had three aneurysms in both legs and thrombosis in my veins and arteries, to top it all off.

Why I Need Help

I have exhausted my savings trying to stay afloat, but I am now at the point where I have run out of resources. I am currently unable to meet my basic needs, including urgent bills (e.g., electricity, groceries, auto insurance, cell phone, internet, etc.), nothing out of the ordinary for living expenses.

Asking for money is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I have always prided myself on being self-sufficient, but the stress of unpaid bills is making it difficult to focus on the one thing that will solve this problem: finding a new job. Plus, a new year means new out-of-pocket medical expenses, copays, and medicines, along with monthly medical insurance fees.
