Me and my boyfriend planned and saved up 2 years for our great adventure through South-East Asia for one year, but during our early days in Lombok Indonesia, fifth month of our trip, we found this little girl puppy from the side of the road, abandoned on the pile of burning trash. She had no one, no mother, no siblings, no food or shelter. We decided to do everything we can so she would have a life she deserves, and bring her to Finland. Few months after we came across wounded puppy boy, stuck in a rain sewage with big maggot infested wound on his back. Took him to the vet, healed him and now these two puppies are unseparapble.
We have put all our plans aside and are using all our money to stay in Lombok, until we can get her to Finland, where I (Ronja, the girlfriend) am from. Process is taking months (at least 4-5 months to be exact) and we really need help covering the costs for the puppies (including vet visits, vacciness, neutralizing them, flight tickets, blood titer tests, food, and other essentials). At the side we are taking care of other street puppies on our street, especially two small ones, who were kicked out of a car and the owner drove away, leaving Luna and Lilo behind to survive on their own. We have been protecting them from street dog attacks, took them for vaccined, fed them and offered comfort and love. But we are financially struggeling with feeding costs and are actively trying to find them a home.
We are more than grateful from even the smallest donations, because small streams create large rivers. In that matter there are no donations too small, every cent counts. Luffy, Max, Lilo and Luna, amongst other fed street puppies are sending their love and kisses for everyone who helps us with the sound of a waggy tail!
