Help Logan's Family After Tragic Loss

Logan was a precious 7 year old little boy. He loved his family and playing with his friends. He was tragically hit by a vehicle on May 19th 2024, and killed on impact. Logan was on the sidewalk, walking with his friends when he was struck. His mother ran out to find him already deceased; a scene that will forever haunt his sweet mama.

The person driving the vehicle was Dalton Cason, a 27 year old man from Patterson, Georgia, who tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl immediately after Logan was killed. He stated to the police that he saw Logan and his friends BEFORE he hit him. He was high and unable to stop in time before hitting and killing Logan. Yet, Dalton still hasn’t been charged with anything and is walking free. He hasn’t even apologized for so horrifically stealing Logan from his family! He sat in his car and couldn’t even be bothered to check on Logan as he laid in the road. He just sat and waited for the police to arrive like he was in some simple fender bender.

The police showed up, wrote a report, allowed Dalton to clean out his vehicle, took his blood to check for illegal substances, then allowed him to go home to his wife and kids as if nothing happened.

Precious little Logan will never get to go home. He will never return to his family and friends. Never return to school and to his room. Never graduate and go to college to follow his dreams. Never get married and have sweet little babies of his own that would be such a blessing to his own family.

However, Dalton has been charged with NOTHING. He has never been arrested. As far as we know, he didn’t even receive a citation. He gets to “spoil” his own children as we all see on Facebook. What a slap to poor Logan’s mama who never received so much as an apology!

Tell me why this mama isn’t worthy of justice and Dalton gets to remain free?

The money raised here is to help Logan’s family during the most difficult time in their life. This will go to cover any final costs and potential future costs. It will help cover legal fees and I would also like to cover therapy for this family to help them heal from the pain of what they saw that day. This mama will never be able to unsee her baby like that, all while his killer walks free and couldn’t even be bothered to glance his way.
