Help the MacLean Family After the Wildfire
Donation protected
Liz and Morgan MacLean, along with their two children Adelaide and Agnes, and three pets, narrowly escaped the Eaton wildfire in their beloved community of Altadena, California. They had minutes to make decisions, pack a couple things, and gather a few precious belongings. Nothing is left of their house or Morgan’s studio.
While many in the area are impacted by this deeply tragic and life changing event, we are saddened to know it took Liz and Morgan a decade to be able to buy a house close to their children’s schools, friends, and favorite mountain trails. In May of last year, they finally purchased the home with a garage that would serve as an art studio, the yard and the community they had always dreamed of.
They lost everything, but for Morgan he also lost his entire art studio; the hand-carved masterpieces he so carefully created, the customized tools, the place in which he could create is gone.
Liz and Morgan are two of the most generous and kind people we have ever met, they would be the first to help others when faced with challenges. Many friends have asked each of us how they can help in the short term to help with temporary housing, food and clothing. On behalf of Liz’s closest friend, Valerie Krasny, and Liz's sisters Kimberly Edwards, Emily Davis and Carrie Grace, and the MacLean siblings we hope you will join us in this opportunity to give to this incredible family.
We also understand there is widespread need in the Altadena community. If you would rather give (or have already given) to a local organization which needs help, thank you. The school community is their first priority.

However you can support the community is the best way to support the MacLeans. Thank you so much for your generosity.
