Hello, my name is Shona Kumar, and I’m a rising junior at Livingston High School. Over the past few years, I’ve had the honor of working closely with the veteran community in our town - a cause that holds deep personal meaning for me.

Recently, Livingston Township launched the Hometown Heroes Program, which is a heartfelt initiative designed to honor the brave men and women from our community who have served in the United States Armed Forces. As part of this program, personalized banners will be proudly displayed throughout town, with each one paying tribute to a veteran or active-duty service member with ties to Livingston.

These banners serve as powerful symbols of sacrifice, courage, and unwavering patriotism. They remind us daily of the heroes who have defended our freedom, many of whom are neighbors, friends, family, and community members.

To help bring this vision to life and ensure every local hero has a chance to be honored, I started this GoFundMe campaign. Your donation will go toward the cost of creating and installing these commemorative banners. With your support, we can make sure no veteran is left unrecognized.
