Help Lisa's Little Dream Farm Sanctuary Prepare for Winter
Donación protegida
Lisa's Little Dream Farm Sanctuary is a family owned farm rescue and sanctuary. Animals on the farm are either rescues or owner surrenders. Each and every one is nursed back to health when necessary and all are loved and spoiled. Over 80 animals call Lisa's Little Dream Farm Sanctuary home, including horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and even Hercules, the sweetest Jersey cow I've ever met.
I started volunteering at the Sanctuary a couple of months ago. I have absolutely fallen in love with the animals and the dedication Lisa has to providing the best lives for them is inspiring. It is evident to everyone who visits!
What people may not know, is that Lisa and her husband Rob, a veteran, operate the Sanctuary solely on their disability income and donations. Unfortunately, this past year has been hard on everyone and understandably, donations have been very low.
We are expecting a cold and wet winter here in Southern Indiana and that means an increased need for feed, grain, bedding, and blankets for the horses and donkeys. I am organizing this GoFundMe with the hopes that together we can raise the funds needed to winterize the Sanctuary.
Currently, the Sanctuary is still in need of 8 blankets, one for a horse and seven for mini donkeys. Those would cost $450. $300 is still needed for the farrier's visit before winter. Bedding costs $240 a month and feed is $780 a month. If we meet our goal of $2,790, we will cover all of the blankets, the ferrier, and two months of feed and bedding.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Lisa's Little Dream Farm Sanctuary! Please consider donating and sharing. I assure you both the animals and Lisa are so deserving of your support.
