Help Lenka Rebuild After Fire and Loss

Thank you for your support in advance. I am writing to assist dear friend Lenka Bukajova following the loss of her home and most of her possessions in the Palisades fire, just after she lost her father and then mother. In her own words:

“You may know, I recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of my dad, followed shortly by the passing of my beloved mother on December 20th. These losses alone have been devastating, but now I’ve also lost my home to the relentless fires that are engulfing Los Angeles. Years of hard work, effort, and dedication to supporting my passion for healing and helping others have been reduced to ashes. My home was more than just a place to live; it was a sanctuary where I could foster growth, love, and care for those around me.

These fires have wreaked untold havoc, displacing countless families and destroying the lives and memories of so many in our community. The emotional toll is overwhelming, but I remain deeply connected to my purpose and the belief that healing and compassion can still prevail, even in the face of such unimaginable loss. My heart remains expansive and open, and I strive to radiate positivity and strength.

However, I am also learning that it is okay to ask for help. Alongside losing my home, my current health situation requires urgent surgery. These dual challenges—recovering from the destruction of the fires and addressing my critical medical needs—have brought me to a place where I must reach out for assistance.

The path ahead feels daunting, but I hold onto my faith and trust that I am in God’s embrace. I am humbly asking for your support to help rebuild my life and restore my health. Your contributions will not only provide a stepping stone to recovery but will also allow me to continue my mission of helping others find hope, healing, and resilience during their darkest times.
