Hi, my name is Bethany Budd. I am the first child/daughter of Sherry Jean Fountaine.
On March 15, 2022, Sherry went into the hospital and ended up needing emergency surgery due to a common health issue. Unfortunately, a human error occurred during her surgery, causing a SERIES of disturbing events ultimately leading to a painful death on March 22, 2022.
Sherry is the wife of Templeton Fountaine(56) and the mother of 4 children Bethany(30), Brandon(27), Antionette(24), and Jazzmine(17). She is also the adoptive god parent of 4 children- Leah(17), Lamar(16), Ryan(13) & Rashean Spears(15).
Most people knew of my mother; she was always kind, selfless, and forgiving. She was the definition of an angel and a devout believer in Christ. She loved so hard and unconditionally.
Our mother's death was extremely untimely; she had so much more life to live. Prior to the hospital my mother was healthy and fully capable of raising 5 children. She was not supposed to leave us this soon.
The family is reaching out for donations towards her funeral costs. All proceeds will go towards that and the means needed for her husband Templeton Fountaine to take care of her 5 children. We desire to lay her to rest APRIL 8TH 2022. Lawncrest Memorial in Redding Ca has quoted us a total of $18,656.70. This quote includes a casket, 2 level burial plot, private family moment, embalming, vault, flower arrangements, etc. This quote does not include a headstone. Unfortunately, Sherry did not have life insurance.
We have much respect for our mother! We understand these photos may be difficult to view, however they are here because we strive to create awareness about this devastating mishap. Our mother went from healthy to fighting for her life.
