Help Maria Polanco’s family in this difficult time

Hi, my name is Stephanie Garcia, her sister in law, and on behalf of Maria Belen’s family I’m organizing this fund for her family to help them during this difficult time. On May 21st, Maria Belen and her friend Kevin Castillo were struck by a drunk driver at 80 mph, who tried to flee the scene. They were just getting food and their lives were taken due to another careless drunk driver.

Maria Belen Polanco, the best daughter, the best sister, and the best friend, was the most beautiful soul. A loving and intelligent 20 year old who attended USC to accomplish anything her heart desired. With one more year ahead of her (her junior year because she was so smart and ahead) she got anything she put her mind to with the help of God. Her faith in God and her family drove her to live the best and happy life. She was such a happy soul, always positive and appreciative of what she has. Always so sweet, adoring, and lit up any room she walked into. She had the brightest future ahead of her.

Its still so unbelievably hard to believe that she was taken from us, being the beautiful person she is.
