Help Kyrios Heal and Support His Family

Our goal is simple: to allow Kyrios and Ulincia to focus on healing and not on how they will pay their bills or provide for their family during this unimaginable time.

If you know Kyrios, you know he is a man of integrity, compassion, and unwavering love for his family. He is a devoted husband to Ulincia, a proud father of five, and the primary provider for his family. As a truck driver, he has always worked hard to provide for those he loves.

On June 29, 2026, everything changed in an instant.

While driving his 18-wheeler, a car suddenly pulled out in front of him. Seeing that there was a baby inside the vehicle, Kyrios made a split-second decision that likely saved lives. Rather than t-boning the vehicle, he swerved to avoid it, putting his own life in danger.

His truck veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree. Moments later, it burst into flames.

Kyrios became trapped inside the burning truck. Fighting to survive, he managed to jump out of the truck just seconds before the truck exploded.

By the grace of God, nearby residents rushed to help. These incredible individuals pulled Kyrios away from the burning truck and to safety, undoubtedly saving his life.

Kyrios was airlifted to the Burn Center at Grady Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. He suffered third-degree burns to approximately 30% of his body, including his hands, arms, back, and legs.

He has already undergone his first surgery, and this is only the beginning of a long road to recovery. Doctors anticipate multiple additional surgeries, including extensive skin grafting using both his own skin and artificial skin substitutes, along with specialized burn treatments. He is expected to remain hospitalized for months before beginning an extensive rehabilitation program.

Throughout every moment, Ulincia has remained faithfully by her husband’s side. Their five children are currently being cared for by family while she stays with Kyrios as he fights to recover.

As the primary provider for their household, Kyrios will be unable to work for an extended period. Ulincia is also unable to work as she supports him through his recovery and helps coordinate care for their family. Like so many families facing a medical crisis, they are now confronted with overwhelming financial uncertainty in addition to the emotional and physical challenges ahead.

We are asking all of our family and friends to surround this family with love, prayers, and support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden by assisting with mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation, childcare, medical expenses not covered by insurance, and other daily necessities while Kyrios heals.

Most importantly, we ask that you pray for complete healing for Kyrios, strength for Ulincia, comfort for their children, wisdom for his medical team, and peace for their entire family during this difficult journey.
