Help Krystal & Baby Hendrix Heal from Covid

Hello, as most of our friends and family already know, my sister Krystal is in the hospital suffering from COVID. She was 27 weeks pregnant when she entered the hospital, and on 4/7/2021 Baby Hendrix Cortes Gnat was born. Krystal’s lungs were becoming too weak to take care of the baby, so they had no choice but to deliver him early. Hendrix is a miracle baby, and he is doing amazing. He has already been removed from the ventilator and is already drinking breast milk, but he will be in the hospital for at least 3 months.

Unfortuanately, Krystal is not doing as well. She is struggling to breathe on the vent, and as of today 4/12/2021, she has been airlifted to UF hospital in Jacksonville, FL. They are a trauma center, and they are very confident, even with her punctured and partially inflated lung, they can save her.

God willing, Krystal will be awake soon, but once she wakes up she will need rehab and physical therapy, all of which are expensive in the United States. Some of our friends have already generously donated, and we thank you very much. With the information we have received from the hospital, we felt it was time to set up a more formal way of donating. Anything will help and is very appreciated.
