My name is Amanda, and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend, Kristi. At just 46 years old, Kristi has recently been diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer.

Following surgery, she will require 6 weeks of radiation, plus hormone therapy for the next five years. Unfortunately, her private health insurance plan comes with a very high deductible and substantial co-pays, leading to significant out-of-pocket expenses that are quickly accumulating.

This has and will create a heavy financial burden for her and her son, on top of the emotional stress of this diagnosis.
