Help Kim kick leukemia’s butt (and come back from treatment as a Greek god)
If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Kim Podesta you’ve definitely been in stitches laughing at one of his (many) one liner jokes. Dale (Kim) Podesta is a very special person to all of us. He is kind, generous and one of the most selfless individuals I’ve ever met. He cares so much for those around him and loves to keep people smiling and laughing.
With a heavy heart we would like to share that yesterday Kim was diagnosed with a high-risk strain of leukemia. Kim went to the hospital over a week ago after he lost sensation in his hands and the doctors flagged his low white blood cell count and determined by way of biopsy of this prognoses. There is a lot to be hopeful for, Kim is not in any pain and will be traveling to Calgary on Monday to begin a month of chemo therapy.
Kim is a fighter and has already asserted that he “ain’t letting no free radical take over his body”.
The funds raised through this page will help Kim cover many of the unfortunate and unexpected expenses he will encounter.
We plan to deliver the funds raised to Kim by way of cheque when we visit him on February 10th.
