Help Kim George stay on a road to recovery
Donativo protegido
September of this year, Kim was injured on the job, tearing her rotator cuff and she has not been able to work since. She was shocked to discover that her employer had no worker's compensation insurance.
The process of receiving aid from the state or her former employer can take up to a year.
Kim has had no income since early October and is facing major surgery to repair the tendon in her shoulder which will require 9 months of extensive rehab. She is at risk of losing her home and is caring for two elderly dogs - one who has cancer.
Kim George started Kane’s Krusade 8 years ago. It helps low - income people keep their dogs in difficult times. Since then, the nonprofit has helped over 1,000 dogs and their people. Kim has never received a salary for running the nonprofit and always worked to support herself while running the nonprofit full time.
If you can help out a person who has helped so many it would be greatly appreciated.
