Introduction:

My name is Shabbir Hussain Shah,and I am writing this with a heavy heart about my courageous 10-year-old son, Khizar Shah. Our bright, artistic boy has been fighting blood cancer for what feels like a lifetime, and now we face our toughest battle yet.

Medical History Timeline:

September 2024:

· Khizar was diagnosed with blood cancer at CMH Rawalpindi

· Immediate hospitalization and beginning of treatment under renowned pediatric oncologist Lt. Col. Awais Arshed

September 2024 - July 2025:

· Underwent 10 chemotherapy sessions with Retoxymab

· Showed incredible bravery through countless hospital stays and procedures

· Found solace in his art, creating beautiful paintings even during treatment

July 2025:

· Completed PET scan after initial treatment

· Received devastating news: PET scan score of 6 indicating relapse

· Cancer had returned despite aggressive treatment

August 2025 - Present:

· Started new, more intensive R-ICE chemotherapy protocol

· Has completed 4 out of 6 planned R-ICE sessions

· Total chemotherapy sessions to date: 14

Current Critical Condition:

· Platelets dangerously low at 25,000 (requires immediate transfusion)

· White Blood Cells elevated to 20,000 indicating infection/complication

· Currently on multiple medications including IV nutrients and supplements

· Under constant medical supervision at CMH Rawalpindi

Financial Burden:

· Monthly treatment costs: PKR 300,000 (approximately $1,080 USD)

· This includes chemotherapy drugs, hospital stays, medications, and blood products

· Our family savings have been completely exhausted
