On February 10th my brother Ken Abraham (49 years old) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), an extremely aggressive type of cancer. It will take months of inpatient and outpatient treatment and chemotherapy, and ultimately a bone marrow transplant (one of his two children will be his donor). As you can imagine, it was a devastating diagnosis to his wife of 22 years, Betsy, children Julia and Jake, and the rest of his family and friends. The GOOD NEWS is that Ken is a fighter and strong enough to beat this cancer, and blessed to have loving family members and friends to support him in this battle. As they navigate through this very confusing and unfamiliar territory, they are realizing it is going to be a great financial stress on the family. Obviously Ken cannot work during this time, and Betsy has also had to stop working because of the round-the-clock care and almost daily 100 mile trips to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment. We want Ken to focus all his energy on getting through the next several months of treatment and recovery, rather than the stress of covering healthcare and household expenses. You can help by donating and sharing the GoFundMe with your social network. Every contribution means so much - and is appreciated more than you know! Thank you!
