Marjane Kelley Sanford, a mom, sister, grandma, wife, and many other meaningful roles, passed away Dec 7th, 2025, at 4:03 am. She lives on in the hearts of her two daughters (though she eagerly took on countless beloved “adopted” children through her motherhood), her husband, as well as her siblings, and grandchildren, and the hearts of every person she’s met in her time with us.

Marjane was a force of a woman. She dealt fiercely with health issues for two decades in lines of lupus, heart disease, kidney failure, and other chronic illnesses. Throughout this time, she raised two daughters with relentless drive, aiming to build her family into one that knows deep love for one another, and they did. She taught them to be strong and resilient. She built them up to follow in her footsteps, providing for those around them and showing profound love in the ways their mother has shown them.

Kelley loved the ocean, the smell of cucumber melon perfume, spoiling her loved ones with perfectly thoughtful gifts, eating family meals together, worshipping the Lord, singing with her daughters, giving to those in need, lilies, and living every day to its fullest. Through all of the love, she had days where getting out of bed was impossible; her pain and suffering were heavy on her.

Her passing came suddenly, and there was not enough time to get the funds together for a proper funeral. Her youngest daughter, Krystalle, is turning 22 this month. Her birthday request is to lay her mother to rest in time. We are asking, please, that if you have something to give, that you aid Kelley’s family in proper funeral arrangements. She’s always asked simply to be buried with her family - please help us give her the one request.
