Help keep the AICW alive and give our writers a voice!
The Association of Italian Canadian Writers (AICW) brings together a community of writers, critics, academics, and other artists who promote Italian Canadian literature and culture. Our mission is to support and encourage the expression and dissemination of the Italian Canadian experience within an ethnoculturally diverse society. Founded in 1986, the AICW is run by volunteers.
We've started this GoFundMe in an effort to keep the AICW alive and thriving. Funds raised here will go towards day-to-day administrative costs, publishing the 30th anniversary anthology, planning literary readings, and other events.
Thank you for any donation, large or small, which allows our writers to continue to hone their craft, promote their work, and express their heritage.
At the 2016 Blue Metropolis Festival in Montreal, two dedicated volunteers were honoured for their lifetime of work with the AICW. To view the tribute video please go here.
