Last October, Lhanna moved from Missoula, MT to Portland, OR to continue her music career and explore opportunities in a new city. She’s been playing in several successful local bands and working part-time jobs to make ends meet while establishing herself in Portland's music scene.
This transition has been more challenging than expected, and she’s currently having trouble covering essentials like rent, utilities, and transportation needs. Job hunting has taken longer than anticipated, and Portland's cost of living is significantly higher than Missoula. A recent rent increase, unexpected ballooning moving expenses, and a car breakdown that impacted her ability to work have created a financial gap that's difficult to close.
Lhanna has exhausted every other option before reaching out for financial support. She is a caring, valued member of her communities in both Missoula and Portland, and consistently shows up for others in times of need. She understands that many people are struggling right now and that this is a difficult time to be asking for help, but deeply appreciates any support folks may be able to chip in.
Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world and help Lhanna stay in Portland and continue building a life in this new city. Thank you for reading and considering supporting our dear friend. ♥️
