Help Justin with expenses for tumor surgery and recovery
Donation protected
Hi! I'm Justin, a 39-year-old, single proud poppa to an awesome 10-year-old.
Three years ago, I was informed by my doctor that my neck and back were quickly deteriorating. Shortly after that, I was informed I have a tumor in my neck, located on my spine, which is pressing on multiple nerves. It has continued to grow, and I was recently told that surgery was the only option and needs to be done as soon as possible. As I continue to age, the risk of complications during the surgery (or the tumor becoming cancerous) exponentially increase. The numbness and pain from this tumor have continued to get worse, forcing me to change careers from being a carpenter to working in Retail and as a substitute teacher. The hours are never guaranteed and my income has dramatically decreased. On top of that, the amount of doctor's appointments have increased, making it almost impossible to keep a steady full-time job. While there is hope that the surgery could fix this over a long period of time, it is definitely a risky scenario.
I have applied for social security disability and was informed that any assistance would take a minimum of 6-8 months. In the meantime, the bills have continued to pile up, making everything more stressful for me and for my son. This is an absolute last resort as I would never ask anybody for donations. Anything at all helps. If you have any questions or want more information please privately message me through any social media platform or my cell if you have the number and I will discuss more and answer any questions that I can. Thank you so much for your love and support!
