Hola, soy Jessica.
Jessica
Hija de Julissa Ortiz
Hi, I'm Jessica.
I'm writing this with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes.
My mom, Julissa Ortiz, has always been the strong one in our family. The woman who never seemed to get tired, who always had a solution for everything, and who taught us to never give up. If you've had the privilege of knowing her, you know exactly what I mean. Her laughter filled our home, and her hugs could make even the hardest days feel better.
Today, she's the one who needs us to hold her close.
On September 16, 2026, our lives changed completely. My mom underwent a craniotomy to remove a meningioma, a type of brain tumor. We spent what felt like endless hours waiting outside the operating room, praying to God to bring her back to us safely. We truly believed the hardest part was behind us.
But unfortunately, it wasn't.
On October 5, we found ourselves living through that nightmare all over again. My mom had to undergo emergency surgery to remove part of her skull due to a bacterial infection. Watching her go into surgery again, especially in such a vulnerable condition, was absolutely heartbreaking.
Today, my mom is fighting with everything she has to recover. Her recovery is a slow, delicate, and painful journey. And while she's giving it everything she's got, the medical expenses have become overwhelming.
Between medications, wound care, medical tests, and the specialized care she needs, the expenses continue to add up, making it increasingly difficult for our family to manage everything on our own.
I've never been someone who finds it easy to ask for help. In fact, writing this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
But today, this isn't about me. It's about my mom.
The woman who gave me life, who taught me how to take my first steps, and who now needs our help to get back on her feet.
If you're able to make a donation toward my mom Julissa's medical expenses, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Every dollar represents love, hope, and faith in her recovery.
And if you're unable to contribute financially, I ask from the bottom of my heart that you please share this message and keep my mom in your prayers. Your love, support, and prayers mean more to us than words can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for standing beside our family during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.
With all my love and gratitude,
Jessica
Daughter of Julissa Ortiz
