Hi, my name is Jordan Garcia, and I’m raising funds for my neighbor and friend, Juan, whose wife Leslie is currently battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma.

Leslie’s journey began last September when what they initially thought might be a pregnancy turned out to be a devastating diagnosis: an 8-pound tumor and cancer. At just 28 years old, Leslie has endured major surgery, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and is now facing even more aggressive treatment and potential radiation after learning the cancer has returned and spread.

Throughout all of this, Leslie continues to show incredible strength and love for her family. Even in her pain, Leslie fights to remain present with her children. Juan has had to step away from work entirely to care for his family. He is now responsible for taking Leslie to her many medical appointments, getting the kids to and from school, and managing the daily needs of their household—all while supporting their oldest son, who is non-verbal and has autism, as he navigates his own challenges during this already overwhelming time. Juan is doing everything he can to hold his family together while Leslie continues to show incredible strength in the face of her diagnosis.

This family has been through unimaginable challenges in such a short time, and they are navigating it all with courage, hope, and deep love for one another.
