My name is Josh, and I’m fighting a very aggressive and life-threatening cancer while struggling to simply stay housed. I never imagined I’d be here asking for help, but right now I truly have no other choice.
I have been diagnosed with High Grade Spindle Cell Sarcoma with Rhabdomyogenic Differentiation of the left thigh, Stage 3A, and recently I received the devastating news that the cancer has now spread to my lungs. This has made my condition even more serious and my daily life extremely difficult.
Because of the cancer and treatment, I am unable to work. Walking is painful; every single step hurts, and simple tasks take everything out of me. I am also dealing with constant appointments, medications, and the mental and emotional weight of fighting this disease every day.
I recently received disability, but it was only enough to cover what I could toward rent. Now I am facing the terrifying reality that without help, I will lose my home while going through cancer treatment. My most urgent need is help with rent and basic living expenses so I can have a safe and stable place to live while I continue to fight for my life.
Every donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference. It helps me stay sheltered, get to treatment, and focus on fighting cancer instead of fighting homelessness. If you cannot donate, sharing my story still helps so much. Your kindness, your support, and even your prayers give me strength when I feel overwhelmed and scared.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, caring, and helping in any way you can.
