Help Josh get insurance & get back on his feet

Hi! My name is Katherine, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my good friend and former colleague Josh Jones. I used to work with Josh in the Kansas City Symphony, where he was their principal percussionist. Josh is not only a wonderful musician, but one of the kindest and most generous people I know.

Josh had a very comprehensive healthcare plan through KCS that additionally covered dental, vision, and the cost of therapy. Unfortunately, after being denied tenure with the symphony, Josh lost his primary source of income as well as all forms of his employee health insurance. Josh has undergone cancer treatments over the last few years, and has to have regular scans done to monitor whether the cancer has returned or not. Recently an enlarged lobe was found in his lung and it also must be closely monitored. The costs of paying for health insurance out of pocket and getting a scan, on top of having to relocate to Chicago, are extremely high. Josh needs support to help cover these expenses; any contribution is gratefully accepted. If you’re unable to donate, even just sharing this fundraiser is a huge help.
