Help Josh Falin's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donación protegida
Hello,
My name is Nicole Vassilico, and I met Justin in December 2006, when we laid to rest one of our very dear friends. He flew down to Texas for the funeral, and we have been friends ever since. Over the last almost 20 years, we have shared just about everything of our day to day lives, and a big part of Justin's was his brother Josh. I never had the privilege of meeting Josh, but I felt like I knew him because of how devoted and loving Justin always spoke about him.
Josh was in a horrific accident on November 4th. I lost count of the surgeries he went through, the different infections, all of the things. He fought every one of them with courage that isn't seen often. Justin, and their parents were with Josh every step of the way. He fought his final fight on March 9th. I will share what his brother wrote for his obituary:
Joshua Falin Obituary
Joshua Eugene Falin
March 11, 1987 – March 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joshua Eugene Falin, 37, of West Milton. Josh passed away on Sunday, March 9, at Kindred Hospital, just two days shy of his birthday. He leaves behind his loving parents, Denny and Barbara (Nevels) Falin, and his brother, Justin Falin, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends who cherished him deeply.
Josh had a heart as big as his smile, and his kindness knew no bounds. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing his PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, watching WWE, and going to the movies. Family was at the center of his world, and some of his happiest moments were spent on vacations to Myrtle Beach or simply laughing with those he loved. His sense of humor was infectious, and he had a rare gift for bringing light to any room he entered.
A proud graduate of Milton-Union High School, Josh later worked in conjunction with RT Industries, where he continued to share his warmth and kindness with those around him. He will be remembered not just for the laughter he brought but for the love he gave so freely.
Josh’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial gathering to remember Josh will be held from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to RT Industries. Online memories of Josh may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
While I wish with all my heart I could be there this next sunday, it's not in the cards. So this is how I would like to contribute, by setting this up to help them financially with the funeral expenses and general day to day things after a loss.
Please donate if you feel led, if you are unable to, please share this or send up a prayer for the family. Thank you all so very much.
