You don't meet people like Jonny every day. He's a man who has dedicated the past 12 years of his life to the cat community in the small, jungle town of Minca, Colombia. Currently he has 46 feline friends living in his small apartment whom he cares for with dedication and love. Each has a name and a story of survival. Each is special. His commitment to their wellbeing is especially unusual in a place where cats are mostly overlooked, left to fend for themselves, and often mistreated.

We felt drawn to spend time with Jonny and his cats the moment we met them. Beyond our obsession with these furry, 4-legged creatures of grace and intelligence, we could immediately feel Jonny's good heart, his sincerity, his generosity. We wanted to help!

This campaign is to raise money for Jonny to build a fenced in sanctuary for his cats. He has a beautiful piece of land in the surrounding hills that he is transforming into a refuge for his friends, more of whom keep being abandoned on his doorstep. You can feel confident that if you choose to donate, all will go directly to the building of a safe haven for these amazing cats and for their continued care.
