TBI- Help Jon get back to being MILLER!

Hi everyone, this is Jon’s sister and I want to start off by saying, we are truly grateful for everyone who has put themselves out there thus far, by giving of their time and love. We have been touched by seeing how many people truly love him.

On June 20th, he fell and hit his head. Luckily one of his friends who was with him, is an ER nurse and she acted quickly and got him to the hospital. He fractured his skull and had two brain bleeds. We really thought that once his immediate medical needs were addressed, he would be given the ok to go home, but unfortunately, he is still in the hospital with physical and neurological problems from the head injury.

While he continues to slowly improve, we still don’t know the extent of damage from the head injury and it looks as though he has a long road to recovery. His fine motor skills and walking have been greatly affected and he still struggles with memory and general thought processes. He will soon be going to a rehabilitation facility where they will begin to work on physical therapy and occupational therapy to deal with these issues. Because he will not be able to live independently while going through therapy, he cannot work. We would like to make sure when he is released with a good bill of health, he can go home to his apartment instead of being homeless because he was unable to pay his rent.

Any and all donations will be and are so greatly appreciated and ALL money received will be going to make sure his rent is paid and any other incidental medical and personal bills are paid while he is unable to do so for himself.
