Help Joel Represent Great Britain in Rugby League!

Hi everyone,

I’m incredibly excited (and proud!) to share that I’ve been selected to represent Great Britain with the Rugby League GB Pioneers on their international tour to Poland this August! We’ll be playing matches in Krakow, Warsaw, and Lodz starting from Saturday, 30th August 2025, and it honestly feels like a dream come true.

After transitioning from Rugby Union to Rugby League, I’ve found a real passion for the game. This year, I was honoured to be named Oxford Brookes University’s 2024/2025 Best Newcomer of the Year — a moment I’ll never forget!

Now, I’ve got the chance to wear the GB jersey and represent my country on the international stage — but I need a little help to get there.

As this is an amateur representative side, I have to self-fund the £1500 cost of the trip, which covers travel, accommodation, kit, and everything else needed for the tour. I’m working hard to cover what I can, but I’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer.

I’m aiming to raise funds by Friday, 15th August 2025, and every donation — no matter how big or small — will bring me closer to stepping onto that pitch in a Great Britain shirt.
