Help Joe Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Hi, my name is Laura, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my dad, Joe — a man who has spent his life helping others. 

If you know my dad Joe, you know he’s one of a kind and has probably made you laugh. He’s the guy who can fix just about anything — and if he doesn’t know how, he’ll figure it out. Whether it’s repairing something around the house, lending tools to a neighbor, or showing up to help a friend in need, Joe is always there. He’s the first to offer a hand and the last to ask for anything in return.

Joe has a heart bigger than words can describe. He treats everyone like family and gives his time, energy, and love freely. He’s a proud father, a loving grandfather, a great friend, and a man who finds peace and joy out on the water with a fishing pole in hand.

Recently, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer — a diagnosis that came suddenly and turned our world upside down. There’s a long road ahead filled with treatments, appointments, and a lot of unknowns. And while we know he is strong, and we know he’ll fight with everything he’s got, the reality is that this journey comes with a growing list of expenses. 

We’re asking for support to help with the mounting medical costs and everyday living expenses that will continue to add up while he focuses on getting well. He’s always been the one to take care of everyone else and never one to ask for anything — now it’s our turn to help take care of him.
