Help Joaquin compete in the Córdoba Competition!

The Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba is the most prestigious flamenco competition in Spain, therefore, the most prestigious in the world.
Throughout Andalucía, the southern part of Spain where flamenco was born, in Sevilla, Cádiz, Jerez, Granada, and Córdoba, there are several flamenco competitions, showcasing mostly local talent in the three facets of flamenco: Cante (singing), baile (dance), and guitarra, that's my thing ;)
Although Spaniards almost always compete and win in these competitions, every now and then a foreigner comes out of nowhere and surprises everyone with their talent and understanding of the flamenco art..
Luckily, the Concurso, 'Competition' in Spanish, is open to all nationalities. A dancer friend of mine, Lakshmi Basile, from San Diego, CA, actually tied with the other three dancers, all Spaniards, in 2010, making waves and headlines.
The Concurso is held every three years. I had already planned a trip to Spain to apply for citizenship through the Sephardic Heritage program, needing to be here by October for the deadlines, and, feeling in my prime and that the timing is right, I decided to take a risk and stay two months to be able to try to compete in the Concurso, which is in November. I have sent in my application and it has been received.
There are two phases of the competition, the selection phase, wherein the applicants perform two solo numbers and accompany a cante, then, the contestants who pass on to the finals play two different solo numbers, accompany a cante and then accompany a baile. I have contacted my singer and dancer who are great artists and willing to put in the work to make this the best it can be. I will need to pay them for their time and will need to hire one or two palmeros, hand clappers, if I make it to the finals.
Taking the advice of a good friend who is a famous gypsy guitarist from Granada, I decided to play all original material in the competition. In the application form the first quality that is valued as a guitarist competing is originality, then creativity, then technical capability. There will be some fierce competition, but composing is a great gift of mine and my music is appreciated by even the harshest flamenco critics. I believe I have a very good chance of making it to the finals, especially when they see that I'm performing my own music.
The winner of each category, cante, baile, and guitarra, goes home with 11.000 euros, which is about 12,000 dollars! Even if I make it to the finals but don't win, I'l receive 2.500 euros as a compensation.
The money would be a great reward for my efforts, and the prestige and recognition would be priceless.
In order to achieve this goal, I'll need some help from my fans.
The competition is from November 5-23. The selection fase is 11/5-14 and the finals are 11/17-20. The winners perform in a final gala on November 23rd. I am asking for $4000 to help to pay for meals, travel expenses,  pay my artists for accompanying me  and for rehearsals, and to pay for studies with guitarist El Viejin and other maestros to help prepare me. I am asking for the funds this month so I can secure a place to stay and study at the end of the month for November.
I know my fans understand how passionate and gifted I am, so now is your chance to support me in the biggest move I have made in my career. Even making it to the first round is a huge accomplishment, and winning the whole thing would be a dream come true...
