This is a fundraiser for Jitto Joychan, who passed away in an accident in Halifax on 25th May 2022.

 

Jitto was 27 years old. He came to Canada in 2017 as an international student and graduated from Lambton College, Toronto in 2019. He was working at the Pizza shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. His unexpected demise is an irrevocable and grave loss to his family in India, including his wife, eight month old baby, his parents and his only brother.

Our goal is to raise CAD 50000 that would be used for the funeral expenses in Canada and in India, the transportation cost of his body, and to support his family in paying off his educational debt.

The fundraiser is being organized by Holy Family Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Halifax where Jitto resides,with the consent of Mr. Joychan, father of Jitto, and his wife Mrs. Alpha Jitto who would be the beneficiaries of the fund collected."Babumon, brother of Jitto's father Joychan, will be handling the funds on behalf of the family."
