Hi everyone, my name is Daphné and I live in Paris, France. I'm trying to raise money to help Jemo and his family. Every penny will be donated to his parents Aytham and Roaa, my dear friends, and his little brother Kenan. Here is the letter he sent to you :

Hi, I'm Jemo.

I'm four years old. I have a mother, a father, and a little brother who is 3 years old. We live in Gaza. We had a beautiful house, a cat named Bella, my father had a job and we had a beautiful life.

Then the fateful day of October 7 came, in the blink of an eye, everything was destroyed in the blink of an eye. My cat Bella died, our house and favorite toys were bombed, my father’s work was destroyed, my neighbors were martyred, and the horror we witnessed was heartbreaking.

The bombing increased, and we did not want to end up like them, so we decided to flee to the south of the Gaza Strip, hoping that we might find shelter and food and escape from the destruction and severe bombing. But it became clear that there was no safe place in Gaza, and we were displaced 7 times after that. Tears came to my family’s eyes, tears of pain, injustice, hunger, displacement, and fear. It was heartbreaking.

My brother and I were deprived of our childhood. At a time like this, we would go with our family to the theme park and go in a car to buy ice cream. Unfortunately, everything was destroyed and we were deprived of our most basic rights. With your help, my family and I can leave this nightmare and leave the country and have a chance to rebuild our lives again.
