Help Jessica heal from skydiving accident

On August 16, 2020 Jessica leapt out of a helicopter with butterflies in her stomach and a smile on her face. The smile lasted briefly before the jump master she was tandem jumping with said "there is something wrong with the parachute, prepare for a hard landing." Which is exactly what happened...an incredibly hard landing.
Thankfully they both survived. However, Jessica has sustained serious injuries which have so far required two surgeries, will require an extended stay in Vancouver followed by extensive at home rehabilitation.
At this point we are not sure what the long term prognosis is as some of the injuries are still undertemined. We do know that she will require long term physiotherapy, mobility assistance equipment and has temporarily had to close her business; which only recently opened after the lifting of COVID restrictions.
Her husband, Mike and I (sister, Julie) have been given permission to be with her while she is in Vancouver to encourage and support her during thjs time.
The money raised from this fundraiser will go towards the physiotherapy, medical aids and travel costs.
Jessica has been working very hard with the therapists at the hospital. Two days ago was her first attempt at sitting upright. She made it 45mins which was beyond what the nurses expected but below her own personal goal of 1hr. Today she surpassed her goal and lasted 1.5hrs!!! She is strong and determined and the hope is that this fundraiser will reduce some of the external stress so that she can focus solely on repairing her broken body.
If you would like to send personal well wishes to her, an email has been set up so that she can look at them when she needs an extra bit of supprt. Please use the email as texts and other messages are a bit overwhelming at this time. [email redactado]
Thank you to everyone that has reached out so far and for your kindness and support.
