Help Jesse stay at UNCSA

Hi! My name is Jesse, and I'm going into my 2nd year for a BFA in Stage Properties at University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA).

For many reasons, being at UNCSA has meant the world to me and changed my life. However, I am now at risk of losing my spot as my family's application for Parent Plus Loan was unexpectedly denied. After exhausting all other options (increasing my own loans and putting all of my savings towards payment) I am still left with a balance of $3,100 to pay for the fall semester and stay at my school.

UNCSA is the only school in the country with a Stage Properties concentration, and as I've spent the last 5 years working almost solely in props, my spot at my school is something I both dreamed of and worked very hard for. Coming from a low-income and single-parent household, money has been a huge obstacle in my education. I've worked and saved up as much as possible for the last 4 years, but without the Parent Plus Loan I am still a bit short.

Fundraising is my last resort, which is why at this time I am only trying to raise for the fall semester bill to keep my spot at UNCSA while I figure out any other possible options for next semester and beyond.
