Help Jerry "Chief" Fight Cancer!

To our friends, family, and anyone who comes across this page, we’d like to thank you for your prayers and support in my dad’s fight against cancer.

My dad was diagnosed with locally advanced Stage IV Head and Neck Cancer in February 2022. He began an aggressive chemotherapy treatment which required him to relocate to be closer to his doctors and resulted in him not being able to work. Since then, he has undergone weekly appts, procedures, scans, and other supportive treatments. This cancer has proved to be very aggressive and did not respond to chemo, so he is currently prepping for the next stage of treatment, which will include daily radiation therapy. Due to the highly sensitive location of his cancer, special devices made specifically for him are required before treatment can begin.

These treatments have been extremely difficult on my dad but he is a fighter and determined to beat this. He is an army veteran and has dedicated over 20 years of civil service as an Aircraft Attendant at Laughlin Air Force Base, working in extreme conditions and never complaining. Until recently, he was never one to take a sick day. Unfortunately, he has now exhausted all leave and is without pay. As you can imagine, this has placed a tremendous financial burden on our family.
