Hi everyone,

My name is Tracy, and I’m Jax’s mom. I’m reaching out on behalf of my goofy, loving, 8-year-young boy who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive soft tissue sarcoma in his front leg.

After meeting with a trusted veterinarian, I was given three options for treatment. The option with the best chance of saving his life is amputation. The other options would only temporarily manage the cancer, leading to ongoing treatments, repeated surgeries, and continued pain for Jax. I can’t bear to put him through that. I’ve spent time hoping and praying for another answer, but the reality is that we’ve reached the point where immediate action is necessary.

Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I love animals and how much of my life has been dedicated to animal rescue. Jax is one of four rescue babies who make up my family, and he means the world to me.

To some, he may be “just a dog,” but to me, he is so much more. He is my baby, my companion, and a cherished part of my life.

As difficult as it is for me to ask, I’m seeking help with the cost of his upcoming medical procedures. Any donation, no matter the amount, would help ease the financial burden and give Jax the chance he deserves.
