I'm Jamie a transgender woman, educator, and artist from Texas where I've lived my whole life and this June I will be moving to Seattle, Washington. This move has been a stretch goal of mine for the last decade, but with the rapidly changing political landscape I knew that it would have to be now or never. I'm looking for somewhere to put down roots in healthy soil, and I believe for me the Pacific Northwest could be that home.

I've been able to secure a job, and will be able to jump straight into work with a fantastic organization supporting kids with neurological differences in being their most embodied and amazing selves. But, times are tough, moving is expensive, and Seattle is expensive. I need a little extra help getting on my feet and I'm hoping you might be willing to support me along the way.

I am primarily seeking support for expenses related to the move itself; storage, housing along the way, food, and fuel.

I fully acknowledge that the world is chaotic right now. I acknowledge that I am privileged in my own right, and so many are suffering or stuck in their own situations. But, I hope if you have the capacity and believe in me as a person you might consider sending a few dollars my way.
