Life can take a drastic turn in an instant. For Jaiden, a fun skateboarding session with friends turned into a life-threatening situation. Jaiden is an amazing young guy with a heart of gold. He is funny, smart and most of all he is a fighter. Jaiden is a fresh 16 and like a lot of teenagers loves being around friends and having a great time. Saturday evenings Jaiden was hanging out with some buddies just riding skateboards near the house. Like most kids and even adults you never think something bad will happen beside maybe some scrapes and bruises if you fall. Well Jaiden did fall and when he did he injured his head to the severity that he is still in the PICU unit of the hospital. As everyone I am sure understands his mother and stepfather are beside themselves with not only worrying about him but how to manage the rest of life while they wait for Jaiden to recover. Sadly tragedies don't stop bills from being due or needing to put food on the table for their other children. At this point they are still waiting for Jaiden to open his pretty big eyes and obviously can not risk for even a moment to step away. I am asking for help from everyone, wither you know them or not to help them keep up with the bills while she is away from work to be next to her son. They both are incredibly hard working parents providing an amazing life for their children and right now they need a kindness. She needs to be able to focus on what is important and that is being beside Jaiden.
