On November 16, 2025, our lives changed forever.

Tim’s son, Tyler, passed away unexpectedly, and there are truly no words big enough for this kind of loss.

Tyler was such a good kid — gentle, kind, and full of quiet strength. He cared deeply about people, even if he didn’t always show it. He was on track to graduate early as a junior, working hard and building a future we were all so proud of.

As Tim faces the heartbreaking task of planning his son’s funeral, many people have asked how they can help. This GoFundMe is being created to ease some of the financial pressure during a time when Tim should only have to focus on grieving and honoring his boy.

The funds raised will go toward:

   •   Funeral and burial expenses

   •   Anything needed to give Tyler the service he deserves

Tyler’s final act of kindness

We received an update from Mid-America Transplant, and they shared something that brought a small bit of comfort during this unimaginable time.

Tyler’s donation has been completed. Even in his passing, he is giving life and healing to others. This is what was recovered:

   •   Whole eyes – helping restore sight

   •   Bone grafts – from the upper and lower body

   •   Heart valves – helping children and women

   •   Skin grafts – from the back, abdomen, legs, and arms

Through these gifts, Tyler could save or heal up to 200 people. That is who he was — someone who helped others, even at the end.

Where leftover funds will go

If there is anything left after funeral costs, every remaining dollar will be donated in Tyler’s honor to:

   •   Rare Breed Youth Services

   •   Courageous Church, who has been such a support to Tim and Tyler

These places make a real difference, and giving to them feels like a true reflection of Tyler’s heart.
