I am raising money for my Eagle Scout Project. With the assistance of my Scout troop, I will be assembling 50 backpacks for the homeless population of Marin. I'm working in partnership with North Marin Community Services to achieve this goal. Each backpack will contain essential items which I will purchase with the funds raised. These items are:

Socks

Adult diapers

Deodorant

Hand wipes

Tissues

Face masks

Granola bars

Ziplock bags

Sunscreen

Toothbrush

Toothpaste

Bandaids

Hand sanitizer

Alcohol wipes

In addition to this, I will purchase fifty drawstring backpacks and put each item into all fifty with help from my scout troop. Here is an example of a completed backpack:

All assembled backpacks will be donated to North Marin Community Services who will distribute them to the Marin community. Any support would be greatly appreciated and would make a big difference. There are many people in need and all of them deserve a brighter future.
