Help Hind support her family in Gaza until they can leave

My name is Luan, and I'm organizing this campaign on behalf of Hind. She is seeking to help her family (including several grandchildren) through the high cost of living in Gaza, where prices of food and other essential goods have gone up to 50 times the regular cost.

Her message:

"My name’s Hind Hamad. I have a husband called Mazen and am a mother to four children: Ameer, Amerah, Fawzy, and Mayar. I also have three grandsons: Kenan, Mohamed, and Sand.

I am a teacher and had a private business with my friend (a kindergarten) but unfortunately it was demolished by the bombing. I also worked as teacher for students with special needs.

My beautiful home was destroyed by the bombing as well. I escaped to Egypt but unfortunately wasn't allowed to take my children with me. I made the difficult decision to leave them to get some necessities, and then return again - but unfortunately, the crossing is closed as of now, and I am alone in Egypt and my family is alone in Mawasy Rafah.

My grandson Sand suffers from malnutrition because of the harsh conditions, and my oldest grandson Kenan hasn’t be able to attend to a school in months. My husband needs urgent treatment because he suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure."

Hind and her children have goals and aspirations too: before these hardships, her daughter Mayar was excelling at school and dreaming of becoming a doctor. There's no way to continue her studies now that all the infrastructure in Palestine has been razed to the ground.

This family has no future here and needs to leave as soon as possible. Until then, your donations keep them afloat.
